Christina Lee, Founder & CEO, Global Green Connect
A seasoned media professional turned sustainability entrepreneur in 2012. Christina took her passion in sustainability, empowerment and connection to build an integrated sustainability eco-system by way of supporting UN SDGs.
Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Christina was appointed as Asia Managing Director of the leading global business media, Bloomberg Businessweek (formerly known as BusinessWeek) where she worked for 12 years. Previously, she also held senior positions at Yahoo! Inc., Star Television (News Corporation) and Avenue Magazine New York.
Actively in supporting business and sustainability communities, Christina was the Deputy Chairman
of SOPA (The Society of Publishers in Asia) and Chairman of its China Projects Group Sub-Committee. She is currently the advisor of Tsinghua University x-lab, Program committee of Singapore Sustainability Academy (SSA), Asia Ambassador of Women4Green, a Board of Director for Hong Kong Canaan Garden Ministry.
Christina was named one of the Asia’s Top 30 ‘Eco Warriors 2019’ by social media network, Green is the New Black. She was awarded the ‘Achiever Award, Leader in Responsible Corporation Driving Impact’ at the Asia Futurist Leadership Summit 2020.
Christina holds a master’s degree in management from Macquarie University (MGSM), Sydney. An avid sports enthusiast, she was honored to be a torch bearer for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Julianne Zimmerman, Managing Partner, Reinventure Capital
For over 25 years, Julianne Zimmerman has focused on putting technology and capital to work for the greater good. As Managing Director with Reinventure Capital, she is utilizing the tools of venture capital in a high impact, high return strategy to counter the steep and persistent asymmetry in access to private capital that is a causal driver for extreme financial inequity in the US and elsewhere. Previously as co-founder of a seed-stage investment practice, Julianne invested in startups in energy, water, food, and health. As a co-founder and in other roles, Julianne has led a wide variety of initiatives from blank page to successful, in many cases award-winning, completion. She and her co-conspirators have catalyzed industry shifts, changed conversations, and set new standards.
Julianne earned two undergraduate degrees from MIT, an MS from the University of Maryland, and an executive certificate from the Presidio Graduate School; she served as a certified EMT in Maryland and Massachusetts, and was twice a finalist in the NASA astronaut selection process. A frequent keynote, reviewer and judge for innovation and entrepreneurship programs in the US and abroad, Julianne mentors through MIT and WPI, among others. She teaches Innovative Social Enterprises at Tufts. She is a 2020 Conscious Company / Kate Spade World Changing Woman.
